Shift: M-F 8:45AM - 5:00PM
Salary: $1,060.77/wk Min to $1,372.08/wk. Max

Summary Statement of Duties:
Under the direction of the Director of Labor and Employee Relations, provides labor relations support services including, though not limited to, grievance administration; employee corrective action; contract negotiations; managerial training, consultation, technical assistance; and third party proceedings.  Performs related duties as required.

Minimum Requirements:
Education:        

A Bachelor's Degree from a four (4) year accredited college required. 

 

A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited school of law and admission to practice law in the Commonwealth preferred. 
 

Experience:
A minimum of three (3) years professional employee relations, human resources, employment law, or labor relations experience required.

Demonstrated management experience preferred.

An additional four (4) years of professional employee relations experience may be substituted for Bachelor's degree requirement.

Physical:
Must be able to demonstrate necessary motor coordination skills to operate a personal computer.

Ability to travel throughout Turnpike properties.

Other:
Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Ability to utilize PC based application software including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Access Database, etc.

Ability to effectively represent employer's interests and positions in adversarial settings.

Must have a valid driver's license.
